Medan, April 15, 2026 — The Statistics Corner of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), in collaboration with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra Province, organized a Statistics Corner Coaching Clinic and Economic Census Socialization on Wednesday (15/4) at USU.

The activity was attended primarily by students and aimed to enhance understanding of the use of statistical data in research and academic activities. During the event, speakers from BPS North Sumatra Province delivered materials on access to statistical data, the utilization of Statistics Corner services, and the importance of the Economic Census as a source of national development and economic data.

The program was conducted through presentation sessions, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to help participants better understand the proper and effective use of statistical data. Through this activity, students are expected to improve their statistical literacy and utilize accurate data to support high-quality research.
