Library users can apply for a Library Clearance Letter online through the circulation service operator’s contact number. This service simplifies the process for students who are completing graduation requirements without the need to visit the library in person.
The Universitas Sumatera Utara Library provides a similarity check service for lecturers’ academic works, as well as theses and dissertations of Master’s Program and Doctoral Program students, using the Turnitin application. This service is optional, as similarity checks can also be conducted at each faculty. The service is located on the first floor, in the Reference and Information Literacy Service Room for Lecturers and Postgraduate Students. Requests for this service may be submitted online or by visiting the Universitas Sumatera Utara Library directly.
The Universitas Sumatera Utara Library provides a Literature Search Service to help users obtain national and international scientific journal articles and electronic books to support research or coursework. This service is free of charge and is available exclusively to active lecturers and postgraduate students of Universitas Sumatera Utara. The service is located on the first floor, in the Reference and Information Literacy Service Room for Lecturers and Postgraduate Students. Requests for this service may be submitted online or by visiting the Universitas Sumatera Utara Library directly. Please use the following link to request the articles you need.
Final projects that may be uploaded include: Diploma Papers, Undergraduate Theses, Professional Final Projects, Master’s Theses (Master’s Program, Professional Program, Specialist Program), published research articles in international journals (for final projects under the Master’s to Doctoral Education for Outstanding Students Program), and Doctoral Dissertations that have been approved and signed by supervisors, examiners, and/or authorized officials, and stamped by the Study Program or Faculty. Submissions must also include abstracts in both English and Indonesian, the Graduation Session Decree for Industrial Engineering students, and scanned proof of signatures and official stamps on the Approval Page of the Final Project.
