USU Library Conducts Review of Facilities and Services to Enhance Service Quality
Friday, March 13, 2026 — The University of North Sumatra (USU) Library conducted a review of its facilities and services as part of its ongoing efforts to improve service quality for the academic community. The activity was carried out alongside the Head Librarian, Prof. Dr. Syahril Efendi, S.Si., M.I.T., within the USU Library environment.
This review was undertaken to directly assess the condition of facilities, services, and the comfort of study spaces available to library users. The initiative serves as a strategic step to ensure that the services provided align with the needs of students, lecturers, and administrative staff.
During the activity, the Head Librarian examined various service areas, including reading rooms, reference services, digital facilities, as well as discussion and collaborative spaces. The review aimed to evaluate existing conditions and identify opportunities for service development to further enhance user experience.
This initiative reflects the USU Library’s commitment to evolving as a modern, inclusive, and responsive center for literacy, research, and collaboration, in line with the dynamic needs of the academic environment. Through this effort, the library is expected to continue delivering optimal services that support learning and research activities within the university.
