Medan, July 10, 2026 – The Directorate of Planning, Development, and Program Evaluation (DPPEP) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted a visit to the USU Library as part of the follow-up to the evaluation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP). Held on Friday (July 10), the visit aimed to strengthen the understanding and commitment of all USU Library staff toward achieving organizational performance targets.
The visit was led by the Director of the Directorate of Planning, Development, and Program Evaluation of USU, Dr. Wahyu Ario Pratomo, along with the DPPEP USU team. Representing the USU Library were the Secretary of the Library, Sundari, S.Sos., M.Si.; Manager of Information Technology and Technical Support, Ray Ansyari Margolang, S.T.; coordinators; and librarians within the USU Library. The activity was held in the USU Library meeting room through interviews and discussion sessions.
During the meeting, the Directorate of Planning, Development, and Program Evaluation team, led by Dr. Wahyu Ario Pratomo, conducted interviews regarding each unit’s understanding of performance indicators, the implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP), and the commitment of all employees to supporting the achievement of established performance targets. In addition, discussions were held on various strategies to improve governance quality, evaluate work programs, and strengthen a results-oriented work culture.
This activity is part of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s efforts to ensure that every work unit applies the principles of accountability, transparency, and effectiveness in carrying out its organizational duties and functions. Through continuous evaluation and guidance, the quality of services and performance of the USU Library are expected to improve and remain aligned with the university’s strategic objectives.
The USU Library welcomed the visit as an opportunity for evaluation and strengthened coordination with the Directorate of Planning, Development, and Program Evaluation. The feedback provided by Dr. Wahyu Ario Pratomo and the DPPEP team is expected to serve as a basis for improving the implementation of work programs, strengthening SAKIP implementation, and enhancing the quality of services for the academic community and the public.
