The USU Library takes great pride in the successful execution of the "Fun Fishing" ("Mancing Ceria") activity as part of the 73rd Dies Natalis celebration. Held on Thursday, 20 November 2025 at the West Pond of the USU Library, this event became a recreational space that blended tranquility, joy, and camaraderie across various community elements.
The activity was enthusiastically attended by the USU academic community and the general public, demonstrating that the library is not only a center of literacy but also a public space that fosters social interaction and work-life balance amidst academic busyness.
On the shaded banks of the pond, an atmosphere of closeness was created while waiting for the fish to bite. This moment became a symbol of the harmonious blend between the nobility of knowledge and the simplicity of natural happiness. "Fun Fishing" was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of the importance of creating quality moments of relaxation and togetherness.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants and involved parties. May the spirit of togetherness and joy created in this event become positive energy in carrying out daily academic and professional activities.
