We are proud to announce the implementation of a Canva Training Program for the staff of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Library as part of efforts to strengthen digital competence and graphic design skills. This training is included in the Skill Upgrade Program – Batch 4, aimed at preparing the entire library team to face the challenges of the digital era and as part of continuous professional transformation. The sessions were held on July 8, 15, and 29, 2025.

Through this program, we strive to enhance graphic design capabilities using the Canva platform, strengthen digital skills to be better prepared for modern work demands, and foster collaboration and synergy among library staff members. Participants were introduced to both basic and advanced techniques in Canva, including poster, banner, and infographic design, as well as the creation of engaging visual presentations.

In today’s digital era, graphic design skills have become essential and highly valuable. By mastering Canva, staff members can create attractive, effective, and professional visual materials for promotion, education, and library services.

We believe that every small step in learning will bring a significant impact on both personal and institutional development. Let’s make the most of this moment to keep growing and adding value to society through ever more innovative library services!
