Guidelines For Using The Usu Library Barrier Gate

MEDAN – The Barrier Gate is a control device for entering a specific area to filter visitors. At the University of North Sumatra Library, the Barrier Gate is used to enter the Collection Room located on the 2nd floor of the USU Library building. In addition to filtering visitors, namely USU Library Members and USU Library Guest Members, the benefit of using this device is to determine the number of visitors for future decision-making considerations. Therefore, every visitor who will enter the Collection Room must bring the designated identification card, namely the Student ID Card (KTM), Temporary Student ID Card (KTMS), or Guest Member Card (KAT).

USU Library Members are not allowed to lend their identification cards to others. One Identification Card can only be used for one visitor cardholder. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact our staff. Thank you.
