In April 2021, the organizational structure of the USU Library became a new history under the leadership of a woman, namely the Head and Deputy Head of the Library, including the Head of the Administration Subdivision and the Head of the Division who are all women.

At the beginning of carrying on their duties and mandates, the new Head and Deputy Head of the Library hope to work together, especially with experienced senior staff who can also provide input and bright ideas for the library’s progress. In the future, they will cultivate monthly routine meetings to review, evaluate, and plan activities in all fields.

Almost one year under the new leadership, there have been many changes and advances, starting from the improvement of the building and the layout of space on each floor which is more attractive, the garden and parking area are neat to the discipline and responsibility of staff directed to performance development. During almost one year of the leadership evaluation process for refreshment to make it more colorful and fresh again, a proposal was made for changes in the organizational structure of the Head of Sub-Division and rotation of duties for some staff in the library.

The proposed changes to the library’s organizational structure were fulfilled on March 4, 2022, with the issuance of USU Chancellor Decree Number 438/UN5.1.R/SK/SDM/2022 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Personnel at the USU Library.

The Handover of Position between Sub-Section Heads in the USU Library Environment was carried out on Thursday, March 10, 2022. The Head and Deputy Head in their remarks expressed their gratitude to the old officials for their dedication during their tenure and to the new officials to immediately adjust to the dynamics of new duties and responsibilities.
