In his remarks after the reading of the oath of office, USU Vice Chancellor II said that the change of officials in USU is a common thing and does not need to be responded to excessively.

“The change of officials is a common thing in any institution, including higher education institutions. This is done based on considerations of filling vacant positions, or refreshing or replacing resources that are considered more capable of providing new energy to an institution,” said the USU Vice Chancellor II.

It was stated that the inauguration that was carried out that day was part of an activity that supported the career path of the teaching staff and in order to mobilize the Faculty and University organs. It also aims to further strengthen and increase institutional capacity that leads to increased academic service performance.

With the inauguration, he hopes that USU can realize a prime academic service system. Thus, a system will be created that will build public trust in the University of North Sumatra to be better.

“In addition, always maintain harmony in the work environment by creating a healthy, conducive, and dynamic work atmosphere. By creating this situation, the progress of the University of North Sumatra will be achieved as aspired by the entire USU Academic Community,” said Prof. Fidel.

To the old officials or those who are no longer in office, Prof. Fidel sincerely on behalf of USU expressed his deepest gratitude for the hard work and dedication that has been given so far.

The inauguration procession ended with a friendly gathering and congratulations from all those present to the newly inaugurated officials.
