Medan, Tuesday (Sept 24, 2025) – The Regional Library and Archives Office of Tebing Tinggi City paid an official visit to the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Library to establish strategic synergy in drafting the Academic Manuscript for the Regional Regulation on Libraries.
This visit marks a pivotal step toward fostering inter-institutional collaboration aimed at advancing literacy and equitable access to information at the local level. During the meeting, both parties explored opportunities for long-term cooperation, including the formulation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will serve as the legal foundation and shared framework for enhancing the quality of public library services.
With its state-of-the-art facilities and outstanding academic resources, the USU Library stands ready to serve as a strategic partner in cultivating an inclusive and sustainable literacy ecosystem. This is far more than a routine visit—it is a tangible commitment to elevate libraries and education across North Sumatra.
Let us collectively support this transformative journey toward “Transformation Towards the Ultimate,” where knowledge becomes a universal right and libraries emerge as beacons of enlightenment for all communities.
