The University of Sumatera Utara Library, in collaboration with the Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI) of Sumatera Utara, has carried out a donation drive and distribution as a realization of its social commitment to support the flood disaster victims.

The University of Sumatera Utara Library, in collaboration with the Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI) of Sumatera Utara, has carried out a donation drive and distribution as a realization of its social commitment to support the flood disaster victims. This activity, held on Thursday, 4 December 2025, is an integral part of our commitment to not only transform into a center of knowledge but also into a responsive and socially-conscious institution attuned to the needs of our community.

 

We are profoundly grateful for every contribution received, which reflects a spirit of togetherness and compassion from all levels of society. We believe the role of a library extends beyond its physical walls; we are part of the community's pulse, ready to provide tangible support in times of need.

 

We extend our deepest gratitude for every contribution and act of compassion from donors across all segments of society. This initial phase of aid distribution has reached the areas of Martubung, Medan Polonia, Medan Amplas, Batang Kuis, and Kwala Bekala (Deli Serdang), and will continue to other disaster-affected regions.

 

The USU Library and FPPTI Sumut Aid Post remains open to help alleviate the burden of our affected brothers and sisters.
