Training on E-Journal and E-Book Database Searching for USU Postgraduate Lecturers and Students

MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library regularly holds Information Literacy Classes for Lecturers and Postgraduate Students annually. The form of activity is “Socialization of the Use of Online Databases” subscribed to by the University of North Sumatra. The materials taught include how to access e-journals, e-books, and other information resources.

The purpose of this activity is for Lecturers and Postgraduate Students to have the ability to search, determine, evaluate, and use information sourced from various information resources managed by the USU Library, both printed and electronic. The information resources available at the USU Library are The Library Catalog, Scientific e-journals, Scientific e-books, USU Repository, Resource Guides, and others.

Lecturers and Postgraduate Students can apply for literacy classes according to the requests or needs of the participants, with the following provisions:

  1. Participants are Lecturers and Postgraduate Students from all Study Programs at the University of Sumatra Utara

  2. The number of participants is at least 10 people

  3. The schedule and location of the literacy class are adjusted to the requests of the participants

  4. The material can be adjusted to the needs of the participants.
