USU Librarian Achieves Outstanding Librarian Recognition

MEDAN – Three USU Librarians won the Outstanding Librarian award in the selection activity for Outstanding Educators and Education Personnel (Diktendik) at the University of Sumatra Utara. The decision was read out during the 74th Independence Day Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia in the parking lot of the USU Rector’s Office (8/17/2019).

The three librarians are Akhmad Danil Ritonga, as Outstanding Librarian 1, Muhammad Salim, as Outstanding Librarian 2, and Nurhusna Siregar, as Outstanding Librarian 3.

Each received an award in the form of a certificate and cash of five million rupiah for Outstanding Librarian 1, four million rupiah for Outstanding Librarian 2, and three million rupiah for Outstanding Librarian 3.

The award was given directly by USU Vice Rector II for Finance and Human Resources Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M. Ked (OG)., Sp. OG (K)., who at that time was the Ceremony Instructor.

The purpose of the activity was to provide appreciation for the services of Educators and Education Personnel in carrying out their duties.
