USU Librarian Achieves the 2018 Outstanding Librarian Award

MEDAN – Librarian Representatives from USU Library have successfully won the Outstanding Librarian Award in the 2018 Outstanding Lecturer and Education Personnel Selection at the University of North Sumatra.

The announcement was made during the 73rd Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony in the front yard of the USU Rector’s Bureau Building on Friday (17/8/2018) at 08.00 WIB, where on that occasion USU Rector Prof. DR. Runtung Sitepu., SH., M.Hum., acted as the Ceremony Instructor.

The Librarians from the USU Library who successfully won the Outstanding Librarian Award in 2018 are:

Outstanding Librarian 1: Juli Handayani, S.Sos.
Title of Outstanding Achievement Work: “The Role of Librarians in Improving the Quality of Lecturer Publications by Utilizing Turnitin Anti-Plagiarism Application Technology in the University of North Sumatra Environment”.

Received a Certificate and cash prize of Rp. 5,000,000.00 from the University of Sumatra Utara and Rp. 5,000,000.00 from the Tanoto Foundation.

Outstanding Librarian 2: Juli Purnawati, S.Sos.
Title of Outstanding Achievement Work: “Utility of Librarians as Digital Literacy Agents in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era”.
Received a Certificate and cash prize of Rp. 4,000,000.00 from the University of Sumatra Utara and Rp. 4,000,000.00 from the Tanoto Foundation.

Outstanding Librarian 3: Mahruf Nasution, S.Sos.
Title of Outstanding Achievement WorkB: “Digitization of Thesis Collections at the USU Library”.
Received a Certificate and cash prize of Rp. 3,000,000.00 from the University of Sumatra Utara and Rp. 3,000,000.00 from the Tanoto Foundation.
