USU Library Extends Operating Hours by Opening Services on Saturdays

MEDAN – To improve public services sustainably and support the Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions (AIPT), the USU Library has increased service hours from 37.5 hours per week to 42 hours per week, by opening library services every Saturday from 09.00 to 13.30 WIB starting from September 9, 2017. The addition of service hours is expected to increase the quantity and quality of services, as well as accommodate the needs of the USU academic community, especially in fulfilling literacy.

Considering effectiveness and efficiency, for the time being, this service is only open for sections that are widely used such as Circulation Services, Membership Services, Reference Services & User Assistance, Printed Material User Services, Journal Services, and Deposit Services.
