USU Library Holds Socialization on Rector’s Regulation No. 12 of 2017

MEDAN — The University of Sumatra Utara Library held a socialization of USU Chancellor’s Regulation No. 12 of 2017 in the USU Academic Senate Meeting Room, on Monday (2/4). The event was opened by the Secretary of the University of Sumatra Utara Dr. dr. Farhat, MKed (ORL-HNS), SpTHT-KL(K). On that occasion, he expressed his hope that the USU Library can continue to develop in a better direction, especially in terms of service and the number of collections owned, because university libraries have an important role in supporting the activities of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

The socialization was delivered directly by the Head of the USU Library Dr. Jonner Hasugian, M.Sc., and accompanied by the Deputy Head of the USU Library Drs. Syakirin Pasaribu and library staff. In his presentation, the Head of the USU Library said that USU Chancellor’s Regulation No. 12 of 2017 specifically regulates the role of the University of North Sumatra Library in carrying out the task of storing university data on all academic works of students, lecturers and education staff.

The event, which lasted for approximately two hours, was attended by deans and vice deans, expert staff of the rector, directors, and vice directors of postgraduate schools, directors of USU Hospital, heads of work units, and heads of bureaus as well as heads of administration and heads of education sub-divisions in faculties within USU. The activity ended at around 12.00 WIB marked by a group photo.
