USU Library Provides Access to ScienceDirect Freedom Collection to Support Research and Learning

The Library of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has strengthened its digital literature services by subscribing to the ScienceDirect: Freedom Collection e-journal database, providing access to 2,298 full-text article titles for the USU academic community.

 

This database subscription is intended to support learning, research, scientific publication, and knowledge development across various academic disciplines. Through this service, students, lecturers, and researchers can access international scientific references more easily and efficiently.

 

ScienceDirect: Freedom Collection covers 23 fields of study, including Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Business, Management and Accounting, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Psychology, Social Sciences, as well as Veterinary Science and Veterinary Medicine.

 

Access to articles in this database is available from the current year up to the previous four years. The presence of this service reflects the USU Library’s commitment to providing unlimited access to knowledge while supporting the improvement of research quality and scientific publications within Universitas Sumatera Utara.

 

Through the provision of internationally reputable scientific information resources, the USU Library continues its efforts to realize a transformation toward a smart academic library based on a digital knowledge ecosystem that is adaptive to technological developments and global academic needs.
