This activity was held in the USU Library Conference Room on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 01.30 PM. The workshop was attended by around 50 students from the Library Science department and also attended by several lecturers, including Drs. Belling Siregar, M.Lib., Laila Hadri Nasution, S.Sos., MP., and Nur’aini, S.Sos., M.IP.
Hotlan Siahaan, S.Sos., M.I.Kom the Head of the D3 Library Science Study Program in his speech when opening the event said that the purpose of this workshop was to increase students’ insight into the field of information search which would later be very useful for librarians in managing information in an institution, be it a library institution or other institutions.
The quite interesting workshop was guided directly by a resource person from the USU Library who serves as the Head of the Information Technology Infrastructure Sub-Division, namely Ray Ansyari Margolang, ST. In this activity, the workshop was more emphasized on the practice of using the Pathfinder application, starting from the installation stage to how to use it as an administrator.
