USU Library Undergoes External Audit of Quality Management System

MEDAN – The University of North Sumatra Library underwent an External Audit to obtain an ISO 9001:2015 Certificate which was carried out online on November 24-25, 2020.

The activity which lasted for two days was audited by Ahmad Fauzi, ST. from PT. Global Certification Indonesia. Meanwhile, the USU Library itself was accompanied by a consultant from PT. Qims Intrasindo represented by Mrs. Fildzah Shabrina, SE.

The purpose of this External Audit is as the final requirement to obtain an ISO 9001:2015 Certificate which is an international recognition of the Quality Management System in an organization.

The activity went quite smoothly even though it was carried out online considering the pandemic situation which did not allow the Auditor to visit directly and meet face-to-face with the Auditees. However, this does not reduce the essence of the Audit activity.

Furthermore, the final results of the Quality Management System Audit carried out by the Auditor will be announced soon so that later the USU Library can use the assessment as a reference in running the organization professionally.
