Medan, April 27, 2026 — The Library of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a visit from students and lecturers of Universiti Sains Malaysia as part of the Global Collaborative Project in collaboration with the Undergraduate Civil Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering USU. The visit was organized to introduce the facilities, services, and collections of the USU Library to participants from the international partner university.
The visit was welcomed directly by Associate Librarian Evi Yulfimar, S.Sos., Reference and Turnitin Administrator Frans Adytia Lesmana Ginting, S.Sos., M.Si., and Coordinator of Library Acquisition and Processing Muhammad Salim, S.Sos. During the activity, participants were introduced to various library services, library collections, academic support facilities, and the academic atmosphere within the USU Library environment.
The visit aimed to strengthen international academic cooperation while providing new experiences and insights for students and lecturers from Universiti Sains Malaysia regarding the management and services of university libraries in Indonesia. In addition, the activity also served as an effort to introduce the USU Library at the international level.
The program was conducted in a warm and interactive atmosphere through service introduction sessions, discussions, and direct visits to various service areas within the USU Library.
