USU Public Relations Holds Photography and Public Relations Video Workshop

MEDAN – The Public Relations, Promotion, and Protocol Office of the University of Sumatra Utara held a Public Relations Photography and Video Workshop at the Pancur Gading Hotel & Resort, Deli Serdang. The event was held on July 20-21, 2019, starting at 04.00 PM.

This activity is a continuation of the training that has been held by USU Public Relations, so it is hoped that participants will be more skilled in using reporting equipment such as Cameras, Camcorders, Drones and other equipment. The event was opened by Dr. dr. Farhat, M.Ked.(O.R.L-H.N.S), Sp.T.H.T-K.L.(K.) as the Secretary of USU. He hopes that in the future all activities, especially the achievements achieved by USU, can be published well, so that public trust, especially the people of North Sumatra, can be maintained.

The same thing was also conveyed by the Head of the USU Public Relations, Promotion and Protocol Office, Elvi Sumanti, who on that occasion hoped that in the future coordination between participants would be better established, so that news coverage could be published well.

Ika Damayanti Nasution as the Chairperson of the Committee said that the workshop participants numbered 21 people consisting of representatives of the secretariat staff and work units within the USU environment. Meanwhile, the speakers came from professionals in their fields. The activity was divided into two sessions consisting of Photo Techniques with speaker Ferdy Siregar who is the Photo Editor of the Analisa Daily and Video Techniques with speaker M. Taufan from Redline Cinemas Video.

Participants were quite enthusiastic about the activity. In addition to the theory in the use of reporting equipment, participants were also invited to practice it around the workshop environment, so that the training atmosphere was more relaxed but still educational.
