The Inauguration Ceremony lasted about two hours, filled with the opening by the protocol who read out the names of the Heads of Institutions and Units to be inaugurated. After that continued with the USU Chancellor’s remarks regarding the purpose and objectives of the activity. And then ended with the submission of the letter Chancellor’s Decree to each elected Head of Institutions and Units.
In his remarks, the USU Rector stated that a strong foundation is an absolute requirement for the internationalization of USU. The elected Heads of Institutions and Units are part of the foundation in question.
This inauguration is also intended as an organizational strategy to improve performance achievements as well as refreshments to create a conducive work atmosphere. He hopes that the Leaders of Institutions and Units who have been inaugurated can make a real contribution to the USU Campus with an international standard.
One of the Heads of Institutions and Units inaugurated at the event was the Head and Deputy Head of the Library, which is now entrusted to Laila Hadri Nasution, S.Sos., M.P. as Head of USU Library for the period 2021 – 2026 replacing Dr. Jonner Hasugian, M.Si. who served as Head of USU Library for the period 2016 – 2021.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of USU Library for the 2021-2026 period is now entrusted to Sundari, S.Sos., M.Si. replacing Drs. Syakirin Pangaribuan, S.H. as Deputy Head of USU Library for the 2016-2021 period.
The Inauguration Ceremony ended with the submission of the Chancellor’s Decree to the elected Heads of Institutions and Units, then continued with congratulations followed by the USU Vice Chancellors and other guests. Then followed by a group photo.
