Usu Vice Rector Ii Visits University Library

MEDAN – Wakil Rektor II (WR II) of the University of Sumatra Utara (USU) Muhammad Arifin Nasution, S.Sos., M.SP. visited the USU Library accompanied by several of his staff on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at around 09.00 AM.

His visit was welcomed by the Head of the University Library Laila Hadri Nasution, S.Sos., M.P. along with the Deputy Head of the University Library Sundari, S.Sos., M.Si. and the Heads of Division within the USU Library. This visit is part of the work plan of USU Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. in the context of Internationalizing the USU Campus. The library is an important element in teaching and learning activities and is included in the work program plan.

That is the purpose of the arrival of Vice Rector II and his staff, namely to realize the work program. The Head of the University Library in front of WR II explained the work plan of the USU Library to realize the Internationalization of the USU Campus, both short-term plans and long-term plans.

In front of WR II, the Head of the University Library conveyed the obstacles and obstacles that the University Library will face to realize the USU Campus Internationalization program. However, he is determined to do his best so that these goals can be achieved.

Muhammad Arifin Nasution as Vice Chancellor II promised to review the University Library work program and will meet all the needs of the University Library such as Human Resources (HR), Electronic Resources (SDE), and others.

After listening to the presentation of the University Library work program which lasted about an hour and was carried out in the workspace of the Head of the Library, Vice Chancellor II said goodbye and then he would visit the University Language Center which is located not far from the University Library.
