Medan, Wednesday (02/07/2025) – USU Library welcomed four international students participating in the BIPA Program (Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Speakers), a collaboration between International Internships and USU Language Center. The students, who came from Deakin University, Australia, were received by Mrs. Sundari, M.Si, Deputy Head of the Library, along with the Library Team.

The purpose of their visit to the USU Library was to introduce the international students to the facilities and services available at the library as part of their learning enrichment in the BIPA Program. In addition, this visit also served as an opportunity for them to practice their Indonesian language skills through direct dialogue during the tour and to explore Indonesian-language book collections.

Their presence at the USU Library not only provided a valuable learning experience but also demonstrated that the library can be a dynamic center of knowledge, serving as a bridge for cross-cultural and academic exchange. With its comprehensive facilities and collections, the USU Library supports foreign students in deepening their understanding of local culture while enhancing language and academic learning at an international level.
