Visit of the Head to the University of Malaya (UM) Library

Kuala Lumpur, February 19, 2025 – The Head of USU Library, Laila Hadri Nasution, S.Sos., M.P., visited the University of Malaya (UM) Library in Malaysia. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two libraries, particularly in the areas of digital service development and collaborative research.

During the visit, the Head of USU Library had the opportunity to discuss with UM librarians various aspects of modern library management, including the implementation of the latest technologies in user services, the development of digital collections, and strategies to enhance information literacy.

“We believe that cooperation between libraries plays an important role in improving access to information and supporting academic and research activities,” added Ms. Laila. “We hope this visit will serve as the beginning of a sustainable and mutually beneficial collaboration.”
