Monday, May 25, 2026 — The Library of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) announced an adjustment to its operational service schedule in observance of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri and the national collective leave.
Based on the official announcement, all services at the USU Library will be temporarily closed on May 27–28, 2026. Library services will resume and operate as usual on Friday, May 29, 2026.
This announcement is addressed to all members of the academic community and library users so they may adjust their visit schedules and borrowing needs prior to the holiday period.
The temporary closure is part of the operational schedule adjustment during the observance of Eid al-Adha and the collective leave. Although onsite services will not be available, users may still access digital services and electronic information resources provided through the USU Library’s online platform.
The USU Library also encourages all users to make Eid al-Adha a moment to reflect on the values of sincerity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing with others.
