Working Visit of the Head of Padang State University Library

MEDAN – Head of the Padang State University Library Dr. Ardoni M.Sc., along with his staff made a working visit to the University of North Sumatra Library. The arrival of the group was welcomed by the Head of the USU Library Dr. Jonner Hasugian, M.Sc., in his office (Monday, November 4, 2019, at 10:00 AM).

The two colleagues who have been friends for a long time exchanged news for a moment, then Jonner Hasugian invited his colleague to go on a Library Tour. During the Library Tour, both of them were seen happily exchanging experiences in managing libraries at the University level. Jonner Hasugian did not hesitate to share his experiences while being entrusted to manage the USU Library. Likewise with Mr. Ardoni who has long led the Library at Padang State University. He was very grateful that his meeting with the Head of the USU Library could fill in the shortcomings in their respective libraries.

After the Library Tour, the banquet continued in the Meeting Room on the 1st floor of the USU Library. Jonner Hasugian, accompanied by several of his staff, including Deputy Head of USU Library Syakirin Pangaribuan and Head of Sub-Division of Administration Rasiman, provided suggestions to Mr. Ardoni who on this visit was to develop a digitalization program at the Padang State University Library.

The Head of Padang State University Library Dr. Ardoni, M.Sc., along with his staff, ended his working visit at around 12.00 WIB. Before saying goodbye, Mr. Ardoni and Mr. Jonner Hasugian exchanged souvenirs as a sign of friendship. Hopefully, the relationship between the two institutions can continue in the future.
