Supporting Flexible Work Arrangements, USU Library Adjusts Service Hours

The Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Library has adjusted its service operating hours following Circular Letter Number 8527/UN5.1.R/HK.05/2026 regarding flexible work arrangements and the implementation of academic activities within Universitas Sumatera Utara.

This adjustment aims to support the smooth running of academic activities while ensuring that library services remain optimal for the entire academic community.

The updated operating hours of the USU Library are as follows:

Monday: 08:30 – 20:00 WIB

Tuesday to Thursday: 08:00 – 20:00 WIB

Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 WIB

Meanwhile, the Open Reading Area on the 1st Floor remains open until 20:00 WIB.

Please note that library services are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.

With this adjustment, all users are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly and continue making the most of the library’s facilities to support learning, research, and knowledge development.

The USU Library extends its appreciation for the attention and understanding of the entire academic community.
