USU Library Obtains ISO 9001:2015 Certification
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library successfully obtained ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001: 2015 Certificate through PT. Global Certification Indonesia. The submission of the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate was carried out by Mrs. Fildzah Shabrina, SE. as a Consultant from PT. Qims Intrasindo and received by Mr. Drs. Syakirin Pangaribuan, SH. as the Head of the ISO Coordinator at USU Library who is also the Deputy Head of USU Library.

Dr. Sjahrir Corner Collection at USU Library Inaugurated
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara now has an additional new service facility in the Library Building, namely the Dr. Sjahrir Corner Collection, or Pojok Buku Dr. Sjahrir. The inauguration was carried out by the Chancellor of the University of North Sumatra, Prof. Dr. Runtung Sitepu, SH, M Hum, representing the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of Indonesia, General TNI (HOR) (Ret.) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, M.P.A, at the Dr. Sjahrir Corner Collection, Monday (7/9/2020).

USU Library Conducts Internal Quality Audit Training for ISO 9001:2015 Certification
MEDAN – University of Sumatra Utara (USU) Library conducted Internal Quality Audit training activities for the ISO 9001: 2015 Certification Assistance Implementation Team. The activity took place for two days from February 3, 2020, in the Conference Room lt. 1 USU Library. The activity was attended by 21 people, starting from morning to evening.

MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara (USU) Library conducted an Internal Quality Audit Simulation accompanied by ISO 9001: 2015 Consultant Riski Melati, S.Sos. This simulation is the final series of ISO 9001: 205 Certification Internal Quality Audit Training activities carried out for two days since February 3, 2020.
