Guidelines for Using the USU Library Barrier Gate
MEDAN – The Barrier Gate is a control device for entering a specific area to filter visitors. At the University of North Sumatra Library, the Barrier Gate is used to enter the Collection Room located on the 2nd floor of the USU Library building. In addition to filtering visitors, namely USU Library Members and USU Library Guest Members, the benefit of using this device is to determine the number of visitors for future decision-making considerations. Therefore, every visitor who will enter the Collection Room must bring the designated identification card, namely the Student ID Card (KTM), Temporary Student ID Card (KTMS), or Guest Member Card (KAT).

USU Librarian Achieves Outstanding Librarian Recognition
MEDAN – Three USU Librarians won the Outstanding Librarian award in the selection activity for Outstanding Educators and Education Personnel (Diktendik) at the University of Sumatra Utara. The decision was read out during the 74th Independence Day Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia in the parking lot of the USU Rector’s Office (8/17/2019).
