MEDAN – SMA Negeri 1 Kerajaan, Pakpak Bharat Regency visited the University of Sumatra Utara Library, Monday (8/20/2018). The group of around 60 people consisted of grade XII students and teachers led by Principal Porman Manik S.Pd.

Library Orientation at PKKMB USU 2018
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library participated in the PKKMB (Introduction to Campus Life for New Students) event at the University of Sumatra Utara which was officially opened by the Rector of the University of North Sumatra Prof. Dr. Runtung Sitepu, S.H., M.Hum. on August 27, 2018 at the USU Mini Stadium Jl. Alma Mater USU Padang Bulan Campus Medan. The new students who participated in the 2018 USU PKKMB came from the SNMPTN, SBMPTN, Mandiri and Diploma entrance selections spread across 14 faculties or 54 study programs at USU.

Labuhanbatu Regency Library and Archives Office Conducts Comparative Study at USU Library
MEDAN – The Library and Archives Service of Labuhanbatu Regency visited and conducted a comparative study to the Library of the University of Sumatra Utara, on Thursday, August 30, 2018. The group was directly led by the Head of the Library and Archives Service of Labuhanbatu Regency, his name is Mr. Ir. H. Leo Sunarta, M.MA along with several of his staff.

Training on E-Journal and E-Book Database Searching for USU Postgraduate Lecturers and Students
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library regularly holds Information Literacy Classes for Lecturers and Postgraduate Students annually. The form of activity is “Socialization of the Use of Online Databases” subscribed to by the University of North Sumatra. The materials taught include how to access e-journals, e-books, and other information resources.

Self-Service Borrowing and Returning at USU Library
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library can now borrow and return books independently without the help of an operator. This is possible because the USU Library now has a Self-Loan Station and a Self-Return Station.

BI Corner Services at USU Library FEB Branch
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library, Faculty of Economics and Business branch, has a uniqueness not possessed by other branch libraries in the University of North Sumatra. This uniqueness is the existence of the Bank Indonesia Corner commonly called the BI Corner, this is a collaboration between the University of Sumatra Utara and Bank Indonesia.
