AIPT Assessors Visit USU Library
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara (USU) is currently undergoing the process of assessing the Higher Education Institution Accreditation (AIPT) which will last for two days, namely from 19 – 20 February 2018. The event was held in the IMT-GT room of the USU Academic Center Bureau Building, which was officially opened by the USU Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Runtung, SH., M.Hum., Monday (19/2).

USU Library Provides Turnitin Plagiarism Scanning Application
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara Library now has a plagiarism scanning application, namely Turnitin. This website-based Turnitin application is recommended by the Directorate General of Higher Education, because this application has a fairly high level of accuracy so that its benefits are very good for improving the quality of Scientific Works of educational institutions.

USU Achieves First Place in 2017 National Outstanding Librarian Competition
MEDAN – The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) once again held the National Selection of Outstanding Educators and Education Personnel which was held from 28 to 31 October 2017 in Jakarta. The event held at the Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni Hotel carried the theme “Continue to Move Forward to Quality Indonesia”.

USU Library Extends Operating Hours by Opening Services on Saturdays
MEDAN – To improve public services sustainably and support the Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions (AIPT), the USU Library has increased service hours from 37.5 hours per week to 42 hours per week, by opening library services every Saturday from 09.00 to 13.30 WIB starting from September 9, 2017. The addition of service hours is expected to increase the quantity and quality of services, as well as accommodate the needs of the USU academic community, especially in fulfilling literacy.

USU Library Prepares for Accreditation
MEDAN – The University of Sumatra Utara conducted a Higher Education Accreditation Visitation Simulation activity in its work environment. This aims to prepare USU which will later undergo a re-accreditation process.
